Product Designer / Venture Product Builder

We're looking for a product-minded designer who has experience bringing web and mobile products from concept to launch and can help entrepreneurs turn ideas into real products.

This person should understand the full product lifecycle: from identifying user needs and shaping product requirements through launch and iteration. They won't be responsible for generating business ideas, but they should be able to critique product decisions, improve user experiences, and help founders navigate the path from idea to market.

The ideal candidate has worked on products from an early stage through launch, either in startups, side projects, or product teams. They should be comfortable evaluating and critiquing product experiences, even when they are not the person responsible for the final design execution.

The ideal candidate combines strong product thinking, user empathy, and business judgment, and can evaluate opportunities from both the user's and founder's perspective.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with founders to shape and refine product ideas.

• Critique product concepts, user flows, and feature decisions.

• Ensure products are intuitive, user-friendly, and well-designed by providing UX and product feedback throughout the development process.

• Help define product requirements and priorities.

• Guide founders through the product development process.

• Act as a bridge between founders and developers.

• Recommend next steps based on product goals, user feedback, and analytics.

• Help manage multiple products and initiatives simultaneously.

• Support products through launch and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Product Design, Product Management, or a hybrid role.

• Experience taking a web or mobile product from concept to launch.

• Strong UX/UI design instincts, product taste, and the ability to provide thoughtful feedback on user experiences and product decisions.

• Ability to evaluate products from the user's perspective.

• Understanding of product development, analytics, testing, and launch processes.

• Able to quickly understand new industries, products, and business models.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Comfortable working across multiple projects at once.

• Startup, side-project, or entrepreneurial experience strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience creating wireframes, mockups, or prototypes.

• Familiarity with AI tools and modern product-building workflows.

• Experience working closely with developers in fast-moving environments.
