Persona
Ecommerce Operations Specialist
Persona is recruiting an experienced Ecommerce Operations Specialist for one client company to manage workflows, catalog accuracy, and fulfillment.
About the role
Persona is a recruiting and staffing company that hires exceptional people from 98 countries into full-time, long-term remote roles with the most ambitious companies on earth. Fortune 500 enterprises, fast-growing startups backed by Sequoia, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, and high-performing companies of every size in between. Project management, operations, finance, design, marketing, customer success, and more. Every hire is for a specific open position: one person, one dedicated client, built to last.
The bar is the highest in the industry. More than 200,000 people apply every month, and fewer than 1 in 2,000 are hired. Every offer we make is for an open role with a single client — the kind of role that's almost impossible to find on your own: industry-leading pay set against your experience and skill, real career growth, and a stable seat at a serious company, working from home, anywhere in the world.
Persona was founded in 2018 by two Stanford graduates on a simple idea: talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn't. By recruiting globally for specific client roles, we've grown into one of the fastest-growing companies in the global staffing industry.
We hire people who care about the craft of their work, take ownership without being asked, and want to build a career rather than just hold a job. If that's you, and one of our open roles fits, we'd like to meet you.
Role Summary
We are hiring an Ecommerce Operations Specialist to execute and maintain high-quality ecommerce experiences across Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, retail.com platforms (Target, Ulta), and TikTok Shop for a consumer or CPG brand. This role is critical to ensuring that product listings, content updates, and merchandising changes are implemented quickly, accurately, and with strong attention to detail. You will keep the business running smoothly day-to-day, support new product launches across channels, and troubleshoot issues quickly — particularly within Amazon, where operational issues can have outsized impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Seller Central (Primary Channel)
- Execute Amazon listing updates via flat files and Seller Central, including titles, bullets, backend keywords, and A+ content
- Maintain catalog health on Amazon: manage variations, resolve suppressions, ensure compliance
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve (or escalate) Seller Central cases related to listing suppressions, buy box loss, inventory delays, and account health issues
- Coordinate with strategy and merchandising leads on prioritization of listing changes
TikTok Shop
- Support TikTok Shop operations as the channel scales: appeal flags, resolve product and catalog issues, troubleshoot customer order issues
- Coordinate with creators, agencies, or internal teams on product setup and content needs
Retail.com (Target, Ulta, and similar)
- Support PDP updates and content execution on retail.com channels such as Target and Ulta
- Ensure brand and merchandising standards are met across third-party retail sites
Shopify (DTC)
- Build and update Shopify landing pages, collections, and merchandising to support campaigns and product launches
- Maintain site navigation, product taxonomy, and promotional modules
Cross-Channel Operations
- Assist with product setup, QA, and launch execution across Amazon, retail.com, and DTC channels
- Maintain the omnichannel calendar, ensuring deadlines are met and updates are executed on time
- Monitor execution quality across channels: ensure updates are accurate, complete, and aligned with business needs
- Support light email and SMS execution when needed, partnering with the broader ecommerce team
Required Qualifications
- 1-4 years of ecommerce, digital operations, or related experience, ideally within a consumer or CPG environment
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, including managing listings, catalog health, and troubleshooting issues (required)

- Strong proficiency with Excel and flat files (the backbone of Amazon catalog management)
- Strong attention to detail and high standard for accuracy in execution
- Highly organized; able to manage multiple priorities across channels and timelines
- Proactive and solutions-oriented; able to identify and act on issues without step-by-step direction
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; balances speed with quality
- Strong ownership mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Fully fluent in English
- Ability to commit long-term and full-time
Preferred Qualifications
- TikTok Shop or TikTok Seller Center experience (highly preferred as channels scale)
- Experience supporting retail.com PDPs at Target, Ulta, Sephora, Walmart, Costco, or similar
- Background in beauty, skincare, personal care, or consumer-packaged-goods (CPG)
- Experience with A+ Content (Amazon), Brand Story modules, or enhanced PDP authoring
- Familiarity with Amazon advertising consoles (DSP, Sponsored Ads) at a basic operational level
- Experience with ESPs and SMS tools (Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript) for light execution support
- Familiarity with product taxonomy, GS1 barcodes, UPCs, and item setup workflows
- Exposure to inventory or supply-chain coordination across multiple marketplaces
