Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant & Financial Analyst with deep, well-rounded accounting expertise, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly as technology and workflows evolve. This role combines multi-client accounting, financial analysis, process improvement, and team leadership, with an emphasis on sound business judgment, proactive problem-solving, and ownership.

The ideal candidate brings clarity and insight to financial information, identifies issues early, and is comfortable leveraging technology, including emerging AI workflow applications, to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Client Accounting Leadership

• Manage a robust book of clients with accuracy, speed, and professionalism.

• Execute end-to-end accounting including AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and close.

• Maintain clean, audit-ready financials while juggling competing priorities.

• Serve as a trusted partner and problem solver for each client.

Financial Analysis & Insight

• Build advanced models, dashboards, and KPI reporting in Google Sheets.

• Analyze performance trends and deliver clear, actionable insights.

• Support forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic finance work.

• Leverage quantitative analysis and sound business judgment to guide client decisions.

• Communicate findings in polished, professional English.

Tech-Forward Process Development

• Work in an environment where tools and workflows evolve continuously.

• Identify, test, and adopt technology solutions, including AI-driven enhancements, to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.

• Apply a systems-thinking approach to processes and identify opportunities to make them smarter, simpler, and faster.

• Help design internal workflows that keep pace with business and technology development in real time.

Problem Solving & Ownership

• Identify issues in financial data, workflows, or systems and resolve them independently.

• Bring creativity, resourcefulness, and a solutions-oriented mindset to challenges.

• Document learnings, build templates, and support internal knowledge development.

• Operate with full ownership and minimal oversight.

Management & Leadership

• Delegate and oversee work across the team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.

• Provide guidance, feedback, and support to junior team members and outsourced staff.

• Review deliverables prepared by others and uphold high-quality standards.

• Contribute to building scalable team processes, documentation, and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of multi-client accounting or similar firm environment experience.

• Strong GAAP knowledge and hands-on accounting experience.

• Very advanced Google Sheets experience, including complex formulas, automation-friendly structures, data modeling, and error-proofing.

• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online and Xero.

• Ability to confidently learn and navigate new software quickly.

• Excellent written and spoken English; clear, concise, and business-ready.

• Proven ability to identify issues, solve problems independently, and exercise sound business judgment.

• Highly organized, proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite.

• Understanding of cloud-based accounting systems, integrations, and modern finance stacks.

• Familiarity with AI tools and practical use cases in accounting and finance.

• Experience working with evolving technology and workflows in a finance or accounting environment.

• Experience supporting scalable team processes, documentation, and workflow development.

Tools & Technologies

• Google Sheets, QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, cloud-based accounting systems, AI and workflow automation tools
